Freedom Summer

I found Freedom Summer to be a very interesting story of the summer of 1964.  From the discriptions in the book, it seemed like a terrible 3 months for people, blacks especially.

I think that after looking at the pictures in the book, I can better understand the book.  It is easier for me to actually see the harshness that the people had to suffer through.
